House Update <3

Hi Guys!! Still working away at our new house! ALMOST all is done! Just this last weekend, we had workers come and work on our backyard. The previous owner would just throw debris back there like left over building stuff. Cement, wood, bricks, a chain link fence…. Imagine all that under grass and dirt. Such a pain. But these guys were AMAZING! They trimmed all the neighbors shrubs that were growing over our fences, took a whole dump truck full of debris, raked, and blew all the leaves. Its looking SO good out there!

Painting is finally DONE!. We painted almost every room except one of the spare bedrooms, and the spare bath. The colors were already great in there.

Most of the house is a super light grey called Sterling. The living room is grey with an accent wall of light blue. Its my favorite room in the whole house! The kitchen and front room are also grey. We have an open concept house, so it all runs together, which I LOVE. Our house was built in 1930, however its been completely updated and added onto. This is a not so great photo of my new craft room! Im almost done. Im just tackling my huge fabric horde. I need to find a dresser to store it all in. Im also going to make a super cute valence for the window. The color in here is grey with a mustard accent wall


This is my new chandelier!! There was a big ugly white fan in my craft room that had to go. I found this chandelier at Home Depot for a great price! Im in love.


Last night we made our millionth trip to Home Depot. We got a door bell and house numbers. I just had to like the most expensive ones there :/ But they were so worth it though! My hubby sent me a picture today, and they look amazing.


I also grabbed some flowers. It’s the little details that make me smile.


Im so excited to start using my new craft room! I thik this will bring a lot of new inspiration <3

Hi World! Im Back!

Hi guys!!! OMG, last night was the first time I've felt human since last Thursday. I ache everywhere, have at least 10 bruises, scratches, and 3 different color paints in my hair! Ive been working on the new house NON STOP since last Friday! Weve got SO MUCH done. Painted almost every room, put up new blinds. Kitchen is almost done, livingroom is all done, bedroom and on suite master bath is done. Right now, were adding little touches, which is my FAV. I snapped a few iphone pics. I will have nice pics with my real camera SOON!! Right now, my hubs is working on the yard, and tonight it is my plan to have my craft room done. I actually really like painting. Who would of thought im a master at taping off baseboards? Lol

2012 = Me being CURLY! Ive wanted big curly hair for a long time now, and I finally set up a perm! Im SO excited!

I would already have these, however they are out of my size! BOO.

My dog is like a little kid. Right here, shes watching a movie with us. We have a 60 inch TV, so its easy for her to get captivated by what were watching. There will be a rhino on TV and she will spring off the couch, and try to find it upstairs...

HOPEFULLY, TODAY will be the day we fund! Were waiting for the bank to sign the final HUD, and they are dragging their asses. Can I please just move in my cute little house already?'

My Creative Inspiration has been through the roof! I can tell 2012 is going to be good to me <3

The hubs and I signed the never ending stack of closing docs today! We also bought a top of the line washer, dryer and stainless steel fridge. I learned today, we wont have to pay our mortgage until March, so Im SO SO excited to have lots of extra moolah to DECORATE! I havent been able to sleep, ive been so excited. I was up at 4:50am sewing :)

Boxing up our life for a new chapter!

We have an appt. to sign closing docs at 12 tomorrow! We were HOPING to get the keys by Friday, but it looks like it wont be until Tuesday. Thats ok though, cause thats only 7 days away!!
